Who’s invited?

Novo Collegian’s mission includes providing support to the alumni, students, staff, faculty, and allies working to maintain the essence of New College of Florida. In this spirit the Novo Collegian Reunion is open to all alumni, students, staff, faculty, and allies who support the original New College mission. We hope that the Reunion weekend will be full of support, stories, learning, and dancing for us all.

Who is organizing Novo Collegian Reunion?

Novo Collegian Reunion is organized by the Novo Collegian Alliance. Learn more about Novo Collegian Alliance at www.NovoCollegian.org

Where will the reunion take place?

Novo Collegian Reunion will be taking place at some of our favorite off-campus haunts. We have a room block at the renovated Golden Host Resort where we have reserved a large tiki hut by the salt water pool for the weekend. The vacay-vibes Golden Host tiki hut and pool area will be a great spot for casually gathering with our community in an unstructured environment.

What is included in my Reunion ticket?

A more detailed schedule will be released soon. Plan for a fantastic Thursday night event, Friday sunset beach gathering, and Saturday night party at the Golden Host resort. Daytime Friday and Saturday will offer daytime mini classes and more. Sunday will wrap up the weekend with a casual morning gathering. Tickets include light bites on Thursday and Saturday night as well as a continental breakfast Friday-Sunday morning at the host hut (located on the pool deck at the Golden Host Resort).

Do we have a room block anywhere?

Yes! We have a poolside room block at the renovated Golden Host Resort. Rooms can be reserved by using this link: https://bit.ly/3IQ7H7P

Why reserve a room at Golden Host Resort?

  • We will have a reserved Tiki Hut by the pool for the weekend. It will be a great place to gather for unstructured social time with fellow alums

  • The Golden Host has been remodeled with a fun vintage vibe, new furniture, and no carpet in rooms

  • The pool area is a great place to gather (and features a salt water pool!)

  • The Golden Host is on the same property as the Bahi Hut (which is now non-smoking and will be home to the unofficial nightly reunion after-parties)

  • Fun fact: The original Golden Host was a founding supporter of New College and is listed on Founders’ Hump in front of College Hall
