Board Member Elections:

Voting opens Friday, August 14, at 12:00 PM (noon) EST

VOTING PERIOD RUNS FROM Friday, August 14th, 12:00 pm (noon) EST through Sunday, August 16th, 11:59 pm EST

How to Vote

All alumni members of the NCA are eligible to vote in NCA elections.

To ensure accuracy and transparency, the NCA uses a third-party service, Election Buddy, to run the voting process. This service sends out the notifications to alumni members with a link and instructions on how to vote. The email is sent automatically to the email address you have on record with the NCA. You can find more information on voting using Election Buddy at their Voting Process FAQ.

Didn’t get the email?

Please check your spam folder first! The email is NOT being sent from the NCA, so your email might not recognize it as a valid address. Election Buddy will send out three (3) reminders for you to vote.

If you still don’t see the email, please reach out to the NCA administrative coordinator at coordinator@novocollegian.org DURING THE VOTING PERIOD.

Note that once the voting window closes, your vote will NOT be able to be counted!

ELECTIONS SCHEDULE

  1. Intent to run form opens: Saturday, July 25th, 8:00 am EST - Sunday, August 2nd, 11:59pm EST

  2. Review of Candidates: Monday, August 3, 12 noon EST - Thursday, August 13th, 11:59pm EST

  3. VOTING: Friday, August 14th, 12 noon EST - Sunday, August 16th, 11:59pm EST

Board Member Responsibilities

Board members play a crucial role in sustaining and driving the work of the NCA, from supporting students and alumni to preserving the legacy of New College. Board members are elected to two-year terms and are expected to:

  • Actively participate in board meetings and committee work.

  • Contribute to strategic decisions and initiatives that help us achieve our goals.

  • Support fundraising efforts and community engagement programs.

  • Represent the NCA and its mission to the broader New College community.
