Board Member Elections

The Statement of Interest form is OPEN! If you are an alumni of the New College of Florida, you are eligible to run for the NCA Board. “Alumni” as defined by the NCA bylaws is anyone who completed one or more semesters at the college.

ELECTIONS SCHEDULE

  1. Intent to run form opens: Saturday, July 25th, 8:00 am EST - Sunday, August 2nd, 11:59pm EST

  2. Review of Candidates: Monday, August 3, 12 noon EST - Thursday, August 13th, 11:59pm EST

  3. VOTING: Friday, August 14th, 12 noon EST - Sunday, August 16th, 11:59pm EST

Board Member Responsibilities

Board members play a crucial role in sustaining and driving the work of the NCA, from supporting students and alumni to preserving the legacy of New College. Board members are elected to two-year terms and are expected to:

  • Actively participate in board meetings and committee work.

  • Contribute to strategic decisions and initiatives that help us achieve our goals.

  • Support fundraising efforts and community engagement programs.

  • Represent the NCA and its mission to the broader New College community.
